PPC EAST

Port Panama City’s East Terminal sits on land recently acquired from Westrock papermill at Bay Harbor and is easily reached by means of 9 mile channel that runs from St Andrew Pass through St Andrew Bay and eastward through the East Channel. The East Terminal consists of a brand new $70 million forest products terminal on a forty-one acre site which incudes a 250,000 square foot warehouse, a forty car railyard, and 920 linear feet of berth space with a 36 foot water depth. The main cargo handled at this terminal is wood pulp, liner board, bleach paper, and lumber.

The Port has just recently acquired an additional 27 acres at the same site.. Long term development plans include a second ship berth, additional warehouse space, and up to 30 acres of open storage space. The facility is directly served by the Bay Line Railroad.
